The third child of a family of seven and the only girl, I was born in Stamford, Connecticut. I moved to Ledyard, Connecticut when I was eleven years old. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Connecticut State University. My Master's and Sixth Year degrees were acquired from Sacred Heart University.
After living in Ledyard for nearly forty years, my husband and I moved to Noank, Connecticut, a small seaside village.
Our two children, Kirsten and Kyle are grown and on their own. We also have a wonderful granddaughter Avery, who attends Ledyard Center School where I teach fourth grade.
I have been fortunate to have the time, energy and resources available to travel. I have seen a great deal of Europe, the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and South America. Japan will be my first trip to Asia.
